\nI went ahead and added a few more print titles to our lesson plan template and some of the websites suggested on the discussion board forum. I also added a page for the 4.2 Collaborative lesson plan Rubric. It didn't paste well, so I copied it and added it as a word document. Please look it over and make any other changes necessary. We should be ready to submit before the due date as I don't think we need to add anything else. Look over the rubric to see if you agree. Hope you have a good weekend!

\nHave you made any progress on the lesson template or rubric from my last email? I updated some things a few days ago but have not revisited it yet today. We must submit it for feedback on Wed. I believe, so I'd like to get that finished and ready to post so that I can get to work on the marketing and advocacy project. \nI just finished updating the lesson plan template. I only added a few of the TEKS I thought we would use. Tell me what you think about those. I tried not to put to many because I don't think we need them all.

\nI also went ahead and recreated all of our checklists, organizers and rubrics (except the teacher rubric) to make them more 1st grade appropriate. Tell me what you think about them.

\nI will be really busy this weekend but I will try to add more websites and children's literature to the lesson.

\nI saw the changes. I also added a bit more from the collaborative planning page so that the lesson procedures are clear for those reading it for the first time. You did a good job on the changes for the student friendly checklists, etc. but I am not sure about the one I have attached here- the insect video presentation checklist for students. The ideas do not correspond to the same teacher version in terms of self assessing the quality of their video. The pictures are a great way to help the students identify the topic but these only ask them to identify where they found the information. Shouldn't the teacher and student versions ask the same things but in a simpler way for students?

\nAll else looks great. Look over the template again and let me know if you think I have too much info. We just have the student rubric, closure and other resources to include. Then I think we are nearly finished.

\nWe should decide on the explicit feedback we would like from the class. I would like to ask about specific rubrics to use with first graders- if anyone has additional ideas with regard to younger student friendly rubrics, perhaps the other could be about extensions or resources? Just an idea.

\nOh, I forgot to ask: What about the S4L standards? Aren't we supposed to include those? They are not on the lesson template. I will put them on there. She didn't say there were too many of those, in fact, she added one to the list of indicators. I'll look it over again.

\nI added the reading objective to the LP template from the scenario we posted earlier. This aligns with the other goals and objectives for the lesson. The "voice" is fine. I'm not exactly sure what the criteria is on that but I agree with you that it will be fine. Look over the LP template one last time. I'll submit rubric once I hear back from you. It is posted on the wiki and already filled up with all the necessary information. As soon as I get the okay from you, we can go ahead and submit the assignment.
